An internal management platform for a smart-building coworking operator — space bookings, asset scheduling, and direct hardware integration for access control and HVAC.
Microlab is a flexible office and coworking space operator with locations in Eindhoven and Rotterdam, known for its smart building approach to workspace management. I built the internal management platform for their operations at Trisoft — handling space rental and availability, booking and management of shared assets like meeting rooms, and direct hardware integration for access control doors and HVAC systems.
The hardware layer was the most technically distinctive part of the project — the platform could issue commands to physical building systems, making it a genuine IoT-adjacent management tool rather than a standard booking application.
